The company was established in 2009, after 16 years in the Project Management industry, owner M. Ramona Dorsey was inspired to start her own company providing Professional Development, Business Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency consulting to small, mid-size and large corporations. Since 2009, she has owned and operated the company as the 100% owner and primary consultant providing services to corporations in the Atlanta metro area as well as nationwide.
Meet Ramona
Ramona is, at heart, an Island Girl. She is the youngest of five children, raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix by her Mom. Her Mom taught her to always stick with whatever she attempted because where there is a will, there is a way. Following her mother’s guidance, Ramona excelled at school and at sports, completing high school at the age of 16.
Ramona left St. Croix to attend college and completed her undergraduate studies at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL. She achieved Dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics while being a student athlete playing Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis and running Track. By the age of 22, she obtained her Master’s of Science degree in Systems Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering and Communications from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.
Ramona started her professional career at AT&T and has consulted at other companies such as MCIWorldCom, Cingular Wireless, InComm, and Cox Communications to name a few. She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a skilled expert with over 25 years of experience in all phases of the Project Management (from initiation through closing) and Software Development Life Cycle (from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through implementation and enhancement). She has over 10 years of direct staff management experience being successful at formulating effective long-term strategies and tactical plans to deliver mission-critical business initiatives while streamlining systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity, reduce costs and enhance quality. She effectively communicates and delivers presentations to all levels of management up to and including executive level. Ramona is an excellent team leader with the ability to influence and produce results in any organization.
Ramona lives in the Atlanta Metro area and enjoys being a mom to her 3 children. Since God never gives you more than you can handle, she knows God gave her the best children ever. She is very active as a Fitness Coach, inspiring others to be in the best shape of their lives, and enjoys training Capoeira.
